A Place Where God Doesn't Exist

A short story Sant Singh Maskeen Ji often shared during his lectures about a teacher who asks his students about the place where God doesn't exist.

Whenever a teacher of religious studies starts teaching, he will start by saying, "Khudah (God) is looking, he is omnipresent". Everyday, he will start his lecture by saying the same words but one day something strange happened. Before the studies began, he asked all the students about a place where God doesn't exist. All the students in the class were shocked by this question as the teacher will repeat his saying "God is everywhere" daily before the classes began and now he is asking about the place where God is not present? It was going to be an obvious reaction from the children in the class. He repeatedly asked the same question and finally a student got up and asked for permission to share his answer. Now, the teacher got amazed as he knew that his question is wrong and how could this false question be answered? He told the boy to go ahead and tell the place where God doesn't exist. The boy said, "God is no doubt omnipresent but if there is one place where he is not present then that is in the remembrance of humans." The teacher was surprised as the student converted his wrong question to a right one.

Indeed God is present everywhere but in the thoughts of humans. If man remembers God, just by remembering, he gets connected to the God. When we remember the world, we lose energy as the world is outside; when we remember God, we gain energy as God is inside.
